    Marine Technology Applied to Interior Design

    On the occasion of the first edition of SEAQUIP 2026 in Milan, Opac presents an internal louvre partition, an original furnishing element already installed on board a next-generation yacht and now ready to find application in multiple contexts.

    The internal louvre partition offers an evolved interpretation of the concept of spatial division: not simply a separator, but a dynamic system designed to modulate light, privacy and spatial perception.

    The partition stands out for the possibility of configuring the opening in two different ways:

    • Curtain-style opening, with the louvres moving symmetrically – half to the right and half to the left – creating a harmonious and visually striking effect;
    • Single-side lateral opening, with all louvres sliding to one side, freeing the space asymmetrically.

    Opening and closing are fully electric, characterised by smooth and silent movement, contributing to an enhanced sense of comfort within interior spaces.

    The system is entirely customisable: it can be manufactured to measure, with variable numbers and dimensions of louvres, as well as a choice of wood species and finishes. In addition to its aesthetic and spatial function, the partition can be equipped with insulated louvres, providing not only visual screening but also acoustic protection. This solution allows the creation of more intimate and private environments, significantly improving comfort on board or in any other setting.

    At SEAQUIP 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the potential of this dynamic interior element, capable of redefining the concept of spatial separation by combining aesthetics, functionality and comfort.

    Opac is exhibiting at the 1st edition of SEAQUIP 2026 – Fiera Milano Rho – Stand D29–E30.
