Opac is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of hard-top systems, soft-top systems and awnings for all types of pleasure craft.

Hard-top roofs are typically constructed using composite materials and/or glass, while soft-tops are generally made of canvas. Awnings, also known as bimini tops, are waterproof canvas structures designed to provide protection from sun, wind and spray.

All hard-tops, soft-tops, awnings and their movement systems are fully designed in-house by Opac’s Nautical Division, while production is carried out by highly specialised personnel in collaboration with a selected network of trusted partners.

The Nautical Division benefits from technologies and expertise developed in the automotive sector. Drawing on over 40 years of experience in soft-top and hard-top systems for the automotive industry, Opac is able to deliver highly effective solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the marine sector.

All products are designed to meet each customer’s specific needs and can also be manufactured in limited series.

This flexibility has enabled Opac to grow rapidly in the nautical sector. Today, the Nautical Division works in close partnership with some of the world’s leading shipyards, including Azimut-Benetti, Bénéteau, Ferretti Group, Monte Carlo Yachts, Perini Navi, Princess, Sirena Marine and Palumbo Superyachts, among others.
