Opac will be in Amsterdam for the METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show), one of the most important international exhibitions exclusively for operators in the marine leisure industry with areas of expertise ranging from products and services to subcontracting, from materials to parts and equipment.
The 2016 edition of the show, to be held at the Rai Convention Centre from 15 to 17 November, will see the participation of naval architects, shipyards, distributors, dealers, industry professionals and nautical equipment manufacturers from around the world.
The Opac stand will be located in the SuperYacht Pavilion (SYP), a space reserved for companies offering products and services for craft over 24 meters in length. If you want to come and visit us, our stand number is 11,514: here you can find a broad overview of the range of products offered by our company’s Nautical Division, beginning with a scale model of one of our soft-tops. You will also receive information and detailed descriptions of our company’s entire product range.
The SuperYacht Pavilion is actually one of the most important innovations at the 2016 edition of the METS, with an exhibition layout that has been redesigned and improved with respect to last year’s. In the new pavilion, current exhibitors are joined by manufacturers of parts and equipment for super-yachts. What’s more, the new layout of the pavilions and the distribution of events combine to make visitors’ experiences smoother and better organised.
The 2015 edition drew record numbers: 1,400 exhibitors from over forty countries and 22,000 professionals attending as visitors. This year even greater numbers are expected, an indicator that the marine industry is riding the rising wave of recovery. “We are delighted to welcome so many companies as first-time exhibitors,” commented Irene Dros, Manager Maritime METSTRADE at RAI Amsterdam. “All of this will contribute to more rapid growth of our exhibition as the preferred meeting place for the global marine leisure industry.”
